Description
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, please join us for a presentation by Nikole Nassen, Ph.D., “How effective is this program? What treatment providers, referring agencies, and clients should know about program evaluation” at 9:00 a.m.
Sex offense treatment programs are generally designed with the intended goal of reducing the risk of future sexual offending. However, not all treatment approaches have been proven effective in achieving this goal. How can referring agencies ensure that clients are receiving effective treatment? What considerations can treatment providers take into account to improve alignment with best practices in their programs? This presentation will focus on treatment programs for adult males with convictions for sexual offenses. It will provide a brief review of program evaluation and outline key questions to consider in answering these questions.
